My daughters A3 Art sketch pad arrived having been damaged in transit due to the flimsy thin jiffy bag (the thinnest one I have ever seen)which it was packaged in. I ordered a number of sketch books from the artstore. The ordering process was very good where you don't get moved to a different screen when you place an item onto your order. When you do click in the order finish button the process was clean and easy. I received an order conformation e-mail, an indication when the order would arrive and a further e-mail informing me what time of the day stated the order would arrive. Their prices are very competitive which was a pleasant surprise - for instance a batch of sable brushes at half price but all of their prices are good and better than many. Timely, well packaged, did what they said they were going to do, comprehensible paperwork etc. The thing that got in the way of a 5 star score was the courier. This isn't a moan but how it was.... The product and price was fine but the delivery (via Interlink Express) was a nightmare. They emailed to say they would deliver on Monday and if that date wasn't convenient I could change it. It wasn't convenient so I wanted to change it to Friday - their website would only let me go up to Thursday! An operator said that's as far as the computer would allow so Friday wasn't an option. Artstore provides an extensive range of materials at slightly cheaper prices than my local art supplier, their website is easy to use but once it was not working so I had to phone the customer phone number and a helpful lady on the other end assisted me with my order. The delivery quite prompt and usually only takes a couple of days to arrive. I was quite disheartened when I couldn't find large thick corrugated cardboard sheets for my university project in London until I found this fabulous shop in Glasgow. The cardboard was cheap and the delivery super quick - I received the items within 2 days. Everything was neatly wrapped up so the cardboard arrived in excellent condition.
