Value roulette. Eventually you lose !

Used Value Shop several times for printer cartridges and was very happy, particularly with price. However, the last time I used them (and it definitely will be the last time), they sent me standard size Brother LC1100 cartridges when I ordered high yield (me out of pocket by £25). After much chasing I was told to return them. I sent them back, but they never acknowledged receipt, so I lost another £25. They never answer the customer services phone (I tried more than 50 times), and their email responses are very slow and aren't very helpful. After a while they stop responding.

What a shame. A potentially great business going down the toilet. If you are thinking of buying from them, try getting through on their customer services number first. Good luck. If they don't answer then STEER CLEAR ! If they do answer then perhaps someone has realised that they need to change their operations to keep their customers. Not me. I'll be buying from 7 Day Shop, paying a little bit extra for peace of mind. Read teh other reviews of Value Shop. Value ? Perhaps, until something goes wrong, and then definitely no.
