Great laptop, well worth the wait

Having decided to retire my ageing laptop I went online to check my options, and after considerable research chose PC Specialist. I was interested in a gaming laptop that could double as an everyday workhorse, so to speak. Most laptops available online are a compromise. What I liked about PC Specialist was the online configurator. It allowed me to choose what components were installed, and then checked for any compatibility issues. Payment options were very reasonable too. The only minor annoyance was the time taken for delivery - almost a month, although I appreciate there had to be a certain leadtime for some of the components I requested, and the laptop underwent extensive testing and burn-in prior to despatch.
The laptop itself is lovely. Quick to power up thanks to the SSD drive, and the graphics are gorgeous. The keyboard is nicely laid out with large tactile keys. Trackpad is a little too sensitive though. I chose Windows 8.1 but on reflection should have gone with Windows 7 or none at all. The good news is that you can change the optional operating system and bundled software on the website while your order is in pre-production. Overall, very satisfied and will definitely shop with PC Specialist in future.
