After a catastrophe two weeks ago with Dell, which ended with a trojan/virus ridden BRAND NEW PC being returned, my experience with PC Specialist has been a refreshing contrast...the PC itself is highly impressive: the graphics are the best I have seen on a laptop, and the processor/RAM mix delivers truly stunning performance. For me, the ability to stay with Windows 7 was crucial...Win 8.1 is still hopeless, in my view...I will migrate from 7 straight to 10.

There is not much to say on the downside...a pre-partitioned HDD would have been a nice touch on a 1TB drive, and an app to detect and link to existing antivirus software on my network, rather than a punt for Bullguard, would have been helpful...

We will be replacing both PCs run by my wife and son shortly, and I will strongly recommend PC Specialist to both of them...
