great laptops but beware of misleading timescales

The freedom allowed to choose your own parts is fantastic, the laptop is brilliant, I love it. It arrived fantastically well packaged and the courier service the use is great, you can even track the van as its on the way to you. The only negative to my experience I would say was the misleading timescales given and the lack of email updates timescale quoted was 7-9 working days but it took 17 which was a bit of a problem as it was bought for my partner to use at university and was late. I complained after no updates after two weeks with no updated timescale and the communication improved greatly. If you don't mind the wait it is well worth it, the price compared to other company's that produce laptops of that level (alienware and MSI) is fantastic, I got a better build and the freedom of choice on the hardware for aroud £400 less.

If you could provide a more accurate build timescale based off how busy you are before the purchase is made the process would have been perfect.
