The item I bought was much cheaper from LambdaTek than elsewhere. It seemed too good to be true, so I phoned to check them out. The guy was very helpful and reassured me that it was new from the manufacturer and was the spec I needed.

I needed it quickly, so paid for next-day delivery. It arrived in very good time and well packed. Great so far. But as soon as I opened the over-sized cardboard box it came in, I could see that it was not the spec I'd confirmed with their sales guy (although it is the genuine manufacturer's product).

Here where's where the problems start. Everyone makes mistakes, but LambdaTek's returns people rapidly became defensive and wanted me to pay the return postage as if I'd changed my mind about wanting the item. They also kept referring to their supplier, as if that had anything to do with my purchase from LamdaTek!

So this leaves their customer waiting without a usable item while they check with their supplier and follow their internal processes. I can't just buy from another source without risking that LamdaTek will refuse the full refund.

It seems that LamdaTek are great when things go well. But I wish I'd read the reviews of how LamdaTek behave when things go wrong! Please check out the other reviews before purchasing.
