I had bought a top from Topshop and had only worn it for a couple of hours. The material had freyed and there were pulls in the top. I returned the top to the UXBRIDGE Store, in the Chimes Shopping store, where a supervisor denied my request for a refund, even though I had my reciept and tag and the garment was faulty.I asked to speak to the Manager who approached my in a very hostile manner and refused to empathise with my point of view. She did not apologies on behalf of Topshop, or offer an alternative solution. She refused to compromise and was very unhelpful.
I used to work at Topshop myself and know that high levels of customer service is crucial. I did not expect this response from a Manager, and after being a loyal customer for years I will now not be returning to that store.
