Daughter purchased dress. Did not fit and tried to return. Due to COVID-19, they were closed and could not be reached. Once they returned, for business, they said it was past their return time. VERY disappointed in their response during this unique time. Would not refer a friend or purchase from them again.

i bought a wedding dress on this website. As soon as arrive to me my dress 10th of january i send a message to them and tried to contact to them. I send this message: " Today my dress arrived to me. But it is not the same as the shown. And also color is different than i ordered. I want to send it back. Please help me to which adress i will send and how many days later you pay money back?" the answer was not relevant to my question. they send me this answer: "hello, your dress has been shipped by DHL, the tracking number is xxx this is the track website:Thank you."

Make sure to read the fine print. They charge a restocking fee on returns and return shipping. I'm out over $50 for dresses that I didn't even get to wear. Also, the dress material is cheap and the dresses r over priced.

I purchased a dress for an out of town wedding.. I received the dress the day before my vacation, it didn't fit, and by the time I got back from my vacation it had already been passed the 7 day return policy mark. 7 DAYS?!?! Seriously?? They wouldn't even give me store credit. So now I'm out $175 for a dress I never wore and probably never will. I'm so angry! I will NEVER order anything from here again and I will make sure that everyone I know will never order from here either.

Bought 2 pc dress for my daughter for Homecoming - dress arrived quickly, fit perfectly (Size 4) and was everything she wanted. The day of Homecoming was busy you know how it is hair, nails, makeup then photos, the dance and then off to dinner with friends. My daughters event started at 6 and went until 9. She got dressed about 5:30 for photos and I dropped her off at the dance around 6:30 by 7:45 she had called me to tell me that the elastic in her top broke and since the top had built in cups she had no bra on that unless she held her top she would be exposed. Since she did not want to leave the event I had to take her a sun dress so she could finish her evening - she felt so awkward going back in and then sitting at dinner with all her friends. When I contacted the Simply Dresses and advised them of the issue and sent them photos they offered me $15 so I could have the elastic fixed. Kind of a slap in the face considering I paid $178 for a dress that she did not even get to wear the whole evening and had on a little over 2 hours. I was not asking for my money back or a full refund I simply asked for the top to be replaced and instead get offered $15.

Purchased a dress, received it in 5 days. Beautiful dress, but too big on me. Sent dress back 11 days ago. Lice chat says they have not received it yet. Once received it takes another 5-10 business days for refund. Ridiculous! So, why does it take much more time to send back than to recieve with same shipping rate? It does not. They delay on purpose. Very poor management. I will never order from this company again.

i custom ordered a dress and they made it way to small. they are horrible at responding back and refuse to give me all of my money back. they said i could ship it to them but they are in china and shipping is over 100 dollars to get to them and the dress was 160 dollars so i would not be getting any back. 100/10 do not recommend they are a horrible company and just make up excuses

Ordered a dress from overseas and it wasn't a thing like the online pictures. The dress feels like a thick foam. Also, it looks like someone just cut the dress into its shape and left it. I'm so disappointed in the quality of this dress. This is my first ball and don't have time to order another one. I won't order a single item from simply dresses again. Poor quality and you lost a customer.

OMG!! Where do I start? I ordered my dress mid November 2016 with intentions of wearing it to an event on December 9, 2016. I received the dress on November 28, 2016, i was so excited! When I went to zip the dress down the zipper malfunctioned and would not budge. I contacted customer service on November 29 and they assured me that another would be shipped overnight on December 6, 2016 (when the designer made another in my size). December 7, no dress! So I email customer service and they tell me that it won't be shipped until December 8 because the customer service agent didn't see my response email. I then speak with a supervisor 2 seconds later and she advised that there is no replacement available. You didn't know that on Monday??? An email updating me on the status would've been nice. Now I have to scramble to find a dress before tomorrow at 12:00 pm, but don't have the time. I have never had an experience like this before....maybe it was just my luck :( Good Luck!

I ordered two dresses as back up for bridesmaid dresses for my daughters. The dresses were never tried on, kept in the box. I returned the dresses back to the company a couple of weeks later (past the 7 day return policy that I was not aware of) and was told that the dresses were not able to be returned as they were stained at the bottom of the dresses!! The company rep was horrible to talk to and basically called me a liar about the state of the dresses. They would absolutely not take the dresses back - even though they were never tried on or worn for that matter. NEVER, EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!! TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE COMPANY.

Not only do the clothes not fit true to size, I even measured myself based on their listed size chart and the dress did not match the listed size. When I called them, they said I would have to pay for shipping to return the dress, despite the fact that it was their misinformation that led to the need for a return. I am a size 4/6 and I need a size 14 for the dress to fit me. Furthermore, the customer service representatives I spoke with (I called twice), were both rude and unhelpful. I have never written a review for any store or website before but felt I had to warn people about this one. Needless to say, I will not be ordering from them ever again.

It seems as though I'm not alone in the return policy of this company. I ordered a pair of shoes for a fitness competition and returned them because they didn't look right with my bikini. The company said I wore them. I didn't. I explained to them that I tried the shoes on for less than five minutes and put them back in the box. They sent me a picture of the bottom of the shoe with some of the brand name rubbed off. I have no idea if they were sent to me like that or not, but I never wore them anywhere other than my bedroom! They went as far as asking me to tell them what kind of floor I have in my home. I never wore the shoes! They are still telling me it's under review for the third time. TERRIBLE COMPANY! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM!!!

I ordered a bridesmaids dress with the hopes it would be "the one", but the dress was not a good length fit to my surprise. The website specified the hem size in a separate window with the height of the model which was the same as my bridesmaids. The dress was too short on both of them so we had to return it. Restocking fee of $15 was waived as a courtesy but I was responsible for shipment fee which they charged me $50 USD. The shipment back only costed me $18 USD. I called simply dresses hoping they would be reasonable enough to at least reimburse me for half of the $50 dollars they charged me but they did not comply. I found the shipment fee incredibly expensive with no reasonable explanation. I was very unsatisfied with how they handled my experience and will never shop with them again.

I got nervous and bought a back up wedding dress because I was worried I wouldn't be able to breathe in my first one I bought. I went online and was nervous to buy from an online store because of all the horrible stories you hear. I took a risk and I am SO GLAD I did. I am writing this because it helped a lot to hear stories of others who have bought. This site has a high ranking and that is what allowed me to have the guts to buy it. Best decision EVER!

I ordered a dress two sizes larger than I normally wear according to the size chart. Figured better too big than too small. Wrong! It was soooo small I couldn't even zip it up. Now the kicker, $33 to return it! So in reality it cost $33 to try a dress on. What a horrible return policy. Wish I read reviews before I ordered. They read reviews and respond with the same generic answers to everyone.

Ordered a dress for my daughter for a high school dance through Simply Dresses. The dance was cancelled and she never wore it. Dress still had original tags on it. However, company would not return as it was more than 5 days since purchasing. Will never order from them again.

I recently purchased a dress from simply dresses and was disappointed with the quality. The dress did NOT look like the photo online. When I tried to return it, I was told that I was too late; it could only be returned within 5 days. I was 1-2 days late. That is a ridiculous policy. Now I am stuck with a dress that I can't wear. I will never purchase from this company again.

I purchased a white dress the day before an all white party and paid to have the dress delivered overnight. I received the dress on time, however was a little disappointed with the material. After trying the dress on, I decided I didn't mind because the party I was going to was that night and got ready. As I was walking out the door I see that the neck of the dress is beginning to rip. I take the dress off and immediately call the customer service number so they are aware I was unable to wear this $89 dress to my event that night. They didn't answer and return my phone call the following Monday afternoon to tell me to send the dress back for inspection. After waiting 2 weeks, I CALL THEM to be informed I have in fact worn the dress and I am lying. They tell me I cannot return the dress and that is all they can do. I am furious for being accused of lying when if fact I feel I have been understanding considering I didn't not have anything to wear to my event because of a defect in their product. This company does not take responsibly for flaws in there merchandise and instead blames the customer. This was the worst customer service I have ever experienced and I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN! I hope this helps you not make the same mistake as me. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. THIS IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY WITH HORRIBLY MADE PRODUCTS AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!
