I recently made 2 purchases from profilefashion.com. I called and spoke with a customer service rep and they ensured me that the 2 items I bought were excluded from any custom fees because there value was under a "certain amount" What that amount is they never said. 2 weeks after receiving my order I get a letter from US customs for fees. I then was in communication with profilefashion.com and all the person keep repeating is that the rep I spoke with gave me the incorrect information or did not completely give me the correct information. Well why is it I am still held responsible for this error on your company part? I want it to be known NOT TO ORDER FROM FASHIONPROFILE.COM THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND THEY BLAME YOU FOR THEIR MISTAKE.

Really? I've been buying from them for 2 years now and never had such an experience. They are well known for their excellent customer service.

Customs charges are something the buyer must work out. There's no way they'd have any knowledge of the US tax and customs department's policies and have zero control over your country's import costs. The representative probably made a badly-informed guess, but you have no right to claim this money back. In future the buyer must be aware of import costs as not many shops will have the faintest clue about import charges into your country.
