“Totally incompetent”

I received a jacket from menlook as Christmas present. There was a fault with stitching so I tried to arrange an exchange. The online form only allowed an exchange to a different size. I called the number for the France but nobody picked between Christmas or new year. Either they on holiday or on strike. In the new year I got through to someone who told me that they didn't have a defined process for exchanges for the same size. “Rubbish- Sort It Out - Extra Charge for using PayPal”

Ordered from here and like others am still waiting for my parcel to arrive. The tracking says it is still in France I could of push biked over to France and back to collect the item 3 times in the time I have waited. “Really Poor Service”

Don't believe the returns policy for menlook.com. They will make sure you only get offered an exchange, they will never refund your money even if you return the items within 7 days. They will just say they received it later than the 7 day timeframe. The item I bought was a Jacket which came damaged also. Still did not refund! Very shady company to deal with. I ordered some Tan Grenson Boots, which the website claimed would be delivered in 5 days, in reality it took 2 weeks. When the package did eventually arrive it contained Black Boots and not the Tan ones that I ordered. I ignored the other negative comments because Menlook had the jacket in stock that I wanted. I should have waited till the shop I usually shop in had one in stock and saved myself the bother and £600. Awful shop, avoid shopping here. Did not ship item, after one week and sending several e-mails they only replied that there was a mistake on the website and they did not actually have the item. They did however deduct the funds from the credit card and refund takes ages. I wonder if we didn't email them ourselves, they would have even contacted/refunded us. “You'll definitely lose money if expecting refunds”

I ordered few DSquared items through order no. 3003933. I had some conditions for shipping which they could not comply to which is understandable and we agreed on refund. “AVOID AT ALL COSTS IN UK”

Same thing happened to me, I called them on the customer care number,I spoke to some lady who was not very helpful,she said something about,it was there insurance company that needs these details before they will ship my items.I have been shopping online for many years and it is the first time that I have ever been asked for copies of my credit card,passport etc.They were very quick to take my money but not very good at sending the goods.Still waiting on my money bein refunded.These kind of companies put people off shopping online.

UPDATE:
Well I managed to get my money back, here's what I did.
As I was getting no response from there customer service I decided to take drastic action, I went onto facebook and went on there facebook page (they have 2 one is international and the other is French)
I decided to put there picture posts as there is no way to send a message via a wall.
so I put both of there pages with as many of the same messages as I could before facebook warned me.

The message I included was:
after I paid them this website claimed they needed a copy of my passport, my bank card, and a copy of a bill/proof of address!! I refused to send them this information. They took my money and I have never received my order and they haven't replied to any of my emails! BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS WEBSITE! I have had to resort to writing this on facebook as I cannot get any reply from them!!!!!

The message was up for about a day or so until I finally had a reply via facebook under one of my messages. (they had deleted the rest of them leaving only one which was as low down there feed as it could possibly be, they don't want to be seen as a awful servive or anything)

they stated that the got my point and that someone from customer service would be in touch, few days later had a email stating:

"Dear,

Please, accept our deepest apologies for not having replied to you sooner.

Following your mail, your request has been taken into account.

We inform you that your refund will be real in the following days.

We remain at your disposal for any information.

Best regards,

Thank you for choosing us

Your Menlook Customer Service"

lol you certainly won't be seeing me soon menlook.
Got my money back bye bye never shop there again.
