I love my Kanken Classic

If you are looking for a durable, chic and functional backpack, you will not go wrong with the Kanken Classic. I bought mine two years ago and have not regretted my decision. I first came across the Kanken Classic while searching for a backpack that would meet my travelling needs. I love backpacking. However, I find it pretty inconvenient to carry the large 45-65 liter backpack while exploring cities. Hence, I was looking for a smaller daypack which I could use to carry essentials like the water bottle, umbrella, poncho and wallet in situations when the larger backpack can be left in the hostel or hotel. Hence, I bought the Kanken Classic act as my daypack.

The Kanken Classic comes in a variety of attractive colors. Thus, both males and females can select a color which suits their image. I bought mine in navy and was very pleased that the actual color of the product was identical to what was shown in pictures online. While the bag may look small, it can actually hold a lot of things. I can fit my large Sony Vaios laptop and charger in there and still have room for a large bottle and some books. The bag is made of a very sturdy material, which feels a bit like those used for professional camping tents. Even though I have used the bag for two years and have exposed it to pretty rough conditions, the bag still looks brand new. In addition, I love that the bag is waterproof. I do not have to worry that possessions would get wet.
The Kanken Classic has three main compartments. First, there is the main body of the bag. Next, there is the small pocket in front of the bag. I usually put my knick-knacks like the map, small note-book and pen in here when travelling. Finally, there is also an additional large compartment inside the main body of the bag. I like to place my valuables in this compartment so that it would be harder for pickpockets to access. There are also deep side pockets which are suitable for carrying bottles or small umbrellas.

The price of Kanken Classic is relatively high. However, I would consider it a good investment given that it is a very durable and functional product. There is little point in paying a lesser amount for bag that would potentially wear out in a year or two. Overall, I am higher satisfied with my Kanken Classic. I have been joking to my friends that unless I personally pick up a scissors or knife to cut the bag up, I probably would not get the chance to ever replace it. I look forward to purchasing more of these bags for my family members.
