Mini fits my 5-year-old perfectly! The size is just right and fits snugly onto my boy's back. He packs his own bag, carries it around, and unpacks his bag all by himself without need for any assistance. The Mini can also fit all his essentials like a cardigan, a book or a note pad, his pencil case, a snack box and even his water bottle. I like it that he gets complimentary looks wherever he goes with his kanken mini. It's fantastic that it's also waterproof .... Perfect even in rain or spills!
