I absolutely love my purple Kanken backpack. Don't be fooled by it's stylish outer--it's far more spacious, durable and hardy than any other backpack. The square shape allows for easy fitting of school stuff like files and books, and the water-resistant outer is great; you don't have to worry about your items getting too wet in the rain. Also, the material (nylon, I think?) that the bag is made out of feels so hardy that I never worry about it getting damaged, and I can chuck in as many items as I want easily. Practicality aside, Kanken bags are so stylish, and I love the wide selection of colors. My only tiny complaint is that the handles of the bag stick out rather awkwardly if not fastened together, but they don't serve as a hindrance. Just looks a little weird sometimes! I have to admit that they come in plenty handy though. Also, it'd be nice if the Kanken website showed their bags modelled on a person so that customers can accurately gauge the size and look of the bag. Despite that, the website (ilovemykanken.com) is really easy to navigate, making it easier for customers to browse through the many products they offer. Overall, I think Kanken is a fantastic backpack brand and everyone should get themselves one!
