the Gudrun Sjoden catalogs show attractive and appealing unusual clothing (reminded me of Swedish design excellence from the 1960's and 70's), and with great expectations I ordered some. But the actual garments were of extremely poor quality. Shoddy fabrics, and poor workmanship. Returning them was a nightmare. And their business and pricing practices are 'unusual' to say the least. Prices on-line and in catalog are quoted in US dollars, but a currency exchange fee appeared on my credit card bill !!. I finally got that fee reversed, and the rest of the charges for the returned goods, but it was a long and frustratingly drawn out process. This was without doubt the worst on-line shopping experience I have EVER had. Cannot believe they stay in business. Maybe they should divert some of their operating budget from the pretty photo shoots in their catalogs to improving their website and hiring someone that understands how to set up and run a customer service department.
