“Took my money but haven't supplied glasses”

I'm having major problems with this company, I have purchased glasses previously and all has been good. However this time I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses and a pair of standard glasses. BEWARDE: I paid for Registered Delivery for reglazing my Hugo Boss sunglasses and the order was allegedly completed and sent out to me in April 2016. The terms and conditions of this company states that they will tell you when the item has been sent, and if the item is not delivered, you will receive an email telling you they have been returned to them. I ordered a pair of glasses and they cost £104. They took over a month to arrive, when they did they were unfit for purpose as the frame which was supposed to me a man's was too small, the arms did not go over the ears. The lenses were very flimsy and fell out when trying to clean them. I returned them for a refund and did not want a replacment as the quality left so much to be desired. Glasses provided were dirty and mis-aligned. Customer service staff were rude, dismissive and misleading. Terms and conditions are worded in a manner which confuses customers with regards to their rights. I totally agree. Placed my order and had confirmation, money taken from my account.. No glasses, can't find an order on website. No response to my email.
Do not use them. I shall be writing to my card provider.

Ordered 2for1 on 28th Jan 14 (Gucci & Boss), received the Gucci middle of March and actually they're pretty good glasses especially as they're varifocals. The problem with the company is there administrative section which after dealing with them for around ten weeks found they are a complete farce and totally incapable of communication. “Shockingly Bad !!”

Four pairs of very expensive Persol sunglasses were returned to me after several unsuccessful attempts by Direct Sight to reglaze them and apply the correct tint. Of these, two pairs suffered frame damage during the reglaze process which, based on this sample of their work would indicate a 50% failure rate for reglazed frames. “Don't waste your money here”

Just before you go and order your cheaper glasses please read the following. Waited 2 MONTHS for these rimless glasses after about 10 emails and 2 phone calls the VERY low quality glasses came with the holes not drilled evenly. When i complained they said send them back and we will adjust them --- how can you do this when the holes don't line up I said. “Absolutely awful, do not go near”

Waited weeks after ordering. One pair of two failed to arrive. The other was unusable, due to massive internal reflections - gave me a blinding headache almost instantly. “Very,very poor”

Probably the worst online retailer I've ever dealt with. The communication is awfull and rude to boot! They do not respond to emails , the phone never gets answered and the product (which I got 7 weeks after order) is dreadful . Do not go near them with a barge pole.
