“EXCHANGE POLICY- DISGUSTING”

I ORDERED A PAIR OF SHOES SIZE 6 BUT AFTER A CONSIDERABLE DELAY I RECEIVED A PARCEL- DAMAGED BY ROYAL MAIL- WITH A PAIR IN SIZE 8. I RANG CHUMS IMMEDIATELY TO COMPLAIN-THE CALL WAS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN NECESSARY BECAUSE I WAS FORCED TO LISTEN TO A LOAD OF RUBBISH ABOUT ORDERING ON LINE ETC. PLUS A COMMERCIAL ABOUT EVERYTHING ELSE AND ONLY AFTER CONNECTION WAS TOLD I'D ORDERED SIZE 8 WHICH I DID NOT! THE MISTAKE WAS THEIRS NOT MINE AND AGAIN TODAY WHEN I RANG TO SEE IF THEY HAD RECEIVED THEM BACK WAS TOLD ONCE MORE THAT I HAD ORDERED SIZE 8 WHICH I DID NOT. I DISLIKE THEIR ATTITUDE ESPESCIALLY WHEN IT IS THEIR MISTAKE AND THEN THEY TELL ME I SHALL HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL THEY GET THEM BACK BEFORE THEY WILL REPLACE THEM SINCE THEIR SERVICE IS VERY SLOW AND THAT MEANS A FURTHER LONG WAIT! I have paid for the goods, I don't want size 8s but they don't appear to trust me; I find this disgusting as I have, on occasion, ordered from them before and they are forever inundating me with catalogues so they must be aware that I am trustworthy. The quality of the shoes looked OK but I don't care for their attitude in trying to blame me for their own inefficiency in putting the wrong size on the order.Incidentally, I don't buy much from them unless it is a same price offer as they charge extra for each size which often makes the goods more expensive also their policy of "buy one get one free" which amounts to buying two if you want them at the advertised price-I call this sharp practice
