In July I bought some expensive footwear from the Leicester store, after a few weeks use the sole started to come away from the shoe. Unfortunately I paid for the goods in cash and had lost the receipt, as a regular customer to Blacks I thought they would show some goodwill and comply with the sale of goods legislation and replace the faulty goods. How wrong I was the staff we not interested and refused to assist.
I emailed the customer care department, I received a badly worded response refusing to replace the faulty goods or offer any form of advice.
I have contacted the manufacturer and they appear interested and I am hopeful that the matter will be satisfactory resolved.
There is no way I will buy a thing from Blacks again their customer care is dreadful, be warned.
