Apart from the package being a week late, i was dumbfounded when the post office employee, upon delivery, asked me to pay a 40$ customs charge. I have ordered packages from abroad many times, although this is the first that charged me UPON DELIVERY. I'm also surprised that there was never any mentioning of a possible fee when i was ordering the products. Now the most terrible thing is that none of the 3 pairs of shoes that i have ordered fit me! Now i have to pay for the package to be sent back, with no guarantee of a refund and another customs fee...the worst experience possible.

Hey, Customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We have no control over these charges, and can't tell you what the cost would be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country. It's a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you're not surprised by charges you weren't expecting. Custom charge information is on our Help&Contact page under shopping, I hope this helps. ASOS Zoe
