We had tried every other organization that looks after dogs for rehoming and been given the run-around by everyone of them. None of them came up with what we needed, nor did they have the expertise to match up need to want. 'Ring us every week to see if we have one' was the cry. Over the last 12 months pets 4 homes have allowed us to advertise 8 dogs on their website that if it were not for them they would have been destroyed. Because our dogs are rescued from Serbia, other websites like Preloved refuse to advertise them, as they feel we are importing dogs for profit. Pets 4 homes have the adoption section and with there format being so easy you can refresh your animal and it keeps your animal in the front, also they do not delete anything so if in the unfortunate... If you're looking to buy something, eBay is the starting point (sorry Argos). If you want a pet, this is the place. The same overwhelming choice, but the facility to filter so that you find what you want. Of course as a buyer you need to be careful - ask the questions, and make sure you get the answers, just as you would with any purchase. I note that the positive reviews that I have read are all of people who've advertised on pets4homes to sell their animals. I notified pets4homes of a recent bad experience regarding a siberian cat breeder we visited (who took a hefty deposit from us) and who assured us that she would get 'our' kitten vaccinated twice before the arranged date of collection and that it would be thoroughly vet checked. I purchase a pug puppy through this site, she had so much wrong with her when i took her to the vets. I contacted the breeder immediately, she told me you pay your money and take your chance (i paid £900). The puppy needed an operation to help her breathe at 8 weeks, she was riddled with worms. My sweet little puppy lost her fight for life at 6 months, due to a hereditary disease which could have been prevented through screening and responsible breeding. To my horror this horrendous... I would recomend 'Pets4Homes' to anyone wanting to home their animals to like minded animal loveing homes , it was recomended to me by the lady who's dog sired my litter & I thank her for that . Am having to put further advert in as someone has given backword on two puppies so am confident they will find good homes through this site. This is the second time I have used Pets4Homes to advetise a litter of pups. The ad is easy to place and the photographs are easy to add. But most importantly, when I asked callers/buyers where they had seen my ad, without fail it was on Pets4Homes. I advertised on 4 other websites and with the Kennel Club, but it was Pets4Homes that got me the results I was looking for. Just thought I would add a review of the free Pets4Homes pet classifieds site. Ive just used it to sell a litter a german shepherd puppies. They all sold within 2 days to great new homes. I was recommended the site by a couple of friends who have bought pets from really good breeders who use the site.
