Ordered a M&P Rialto furniture set in January, finally sent it out for delivery in February.
Out of 6 boxes they only delivered 4 and of those 2 were damaged.
Delivered another box 3 days later and the 6th box was supposed to be delivered another 2 days after but never arrived.
Meant that we had 2.5 pieces of furniture with both complete pieces damaged.
Arranged for a courier to collect but they told the courier it was 1 box weighing 2.5kg. It was 5 boxes weighing 130kg (which require 2 men to lift as the heaviest is over 25kg legal limit... something that wasn't done on the delivery). Couriers refused to take it.
Now saying that they can't collect the faulty goods and are only offering a total refund or new items and £64 compensation. That's for an additional 3 days off work and a £50 charge from the council to collect the broken furniture; which amounts to £14 compensation.
I would avoid them like the plague.
