I originally placed my order and paid in full for car seat and push chair. My order was due in November. I have been calling the shop and continually getting the answer machine, today I have googled Kiddisave to find an article from Walsall express and star saying the company has gone into liquidation! I am now 33 weeks due in Jan, £400 down and no car seat or pushchair!

“Shockingly BAD and incredibly unprofessional!!!”

My wife purchased a moses basket from the baby show in London, firstly, it was due to be delivered within 2 days and arrive within 5. That did'nt happen, after 6 day's we were calling them to see where it was, after several attempts of getting through to them they said there had been a delay and that it would be on the way soon, polite thing would have been to let us know. 2 weeks late, the moses basket does arrive, it was in a clear plastic bag that was ripped to pieces, the bottom of the basket was in pieces and growing mould, the white paint had completely torn off where it had been dragged and thrown around and probably left in water at some point. Completely unacceptable ofcourse, so then the battle with 'customer service' began again, after DAYS of attempting to get through we finally get an answer from what sounded like a 10 year old on her first day, she didnt have a clue, she said she would get someone to call us back, whoch ofcourse didnt happen. We then got through again days later, and was told to email a woman via a gmail address, very random and unprofessional, we were told to send her pictures and pis of the receipt. We did this, and we did get a reply, al be it a very unprofessional one, she said she would send another one out. Three weeks goes by, and nothing, no reply to further emails or calls, and we are left with a damaged moses basket, no replacement or refund..PLEASE PLEASE learn from this and dont loose your money, go elsewhere!!! I wish I would have seen other reviews before buying from them!!

Absolutely terrible service, don't need to add anything to whats already been written but completely confirm everything about the disgusting customer service.... I do however, have a direct line which they pick up: (given by a well known baby brand who agreed they are terrible and helped me out)

If you value your sanity you will avoid this company. I chose not to take heed of the awful reviews and ordered a Silvercross travel system paid cash in full. This was meant to arrive next day And didn't told I would have to wait six to eight weeks still no system numerous phone calls when the phone does get answered later and told they have got no stock, call Silvercross head office who say the do have the stock threaten to put all this garbage phone calls emails etc in the hands of my solicitor and they say I can have bits and pieces of the pram but no chassis wheels. Told the free umbrella/parasol will no longer be part of this package I am a woman who is sixty plus with her first grandchild about to be born and I do not really appreciate this type of service If you are sensible avoid this company Kiddisave and use the far more effienct company Kiddicare I was beginning to lose my sanity with this firm it is diabolical to say the very least

“appaulling service... dont use this company!!!”

We ordered a silver cross pioneer travel system and accessories from the baby show back in may at the nec baby show. We paid them in full on the day (almost £700) and were told we would recieve our order by beginning of june. After waiting until mid june we decided to ring them and were told that die to high demand at the baby show it was looking like we would recieve our order by the end of june now. I was quite happy with this as i could understand that it would have been very busy after the baby show. After waiting again until mid july for some contact id had enough and tried to contact kiddisave by phone and email. They never answered the phone or replied to email. So i went onto their facebook page and could see all of the complaints but at least this way i would get a response. I was called later that day to be told 10 days to get my order and my order was classed as urgent. I accepted (stupidly) and waited 3 weeks... nothing. So again i turned to face book. Again im promised a delivery soon. I hear nothing again. At this point in getting closer to my due date and getting more stressed so i contacted the baby show and silver cross. Silver cross tell me that all is in stock and they have already fulfilled all of kiddisaves orders from the show. I was fuming so i contacted trading standards. I also messaged again on facebook telling them they had 7 days to get my order to me before i took the matter futher. Guess what part of my order was on my doorstep next day... i had my pram and car seat but no hood and apron (which is needed to use the pram) and bag. They got back to me telling me that i would recieve the rest by the end of the week. Again i wait another 2 weeks and nothing and they have shut their facebook down (obviously embarrassed by the amount of complaints) so myself and my partner decided to go to the store... a good motorway journey from where i live. When we get there we are asked if we are ok. I reply no and go into detail about our situation with them (i was quite happy to see that several customers heard the conversation and walked out of the shop). I again was told by monday i would hear of them. But what made my blood boil was when a member of staff said 'at least you have your carseat thats the most important bit' after waiting ovee 3 months i expect all my order not just part of it!!!! I recieved a phonecall on the monday as promised saying i would recieve the order by wednesday. Wednesday came and went so come thursday i was fuming. I pro ate messaged them through fb (as this was now the only way to contact them) to be asked 'has no one contacted you about this yet?' The staff had no idea again! So i asked them to contact me that day without fail. I got a voicemail and message saying id recive my order on tuesday. Finally after waiting over 3 months and being extremely pregnant i got my order on the tuesday. I think how myself amd many other women have been treated terribly. I dont expect to wait so long for something so important. Kiddisave are stressing heavily pregnant women in an already stressful time. Shame on you kiddisave. I am making it my mission to make people aware of the way you treat people. I have contacted trading standards and i have contacted the bbc about you. I know for a fact that if i hadnt continuosly pestered you then i would still be anxiously awaiting my order. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE OFFERS MAY LOOK!!!!

“Shockingly incompetent organisation”

At 30 weeks pregnant, my husband and I visited the baby show at the NEC Birmingham thinking we would get some good bargains in preparation for our little ones arrival. We thought (naively) this enabled us to order things and we would have plenty of time for our products to be delivered. Unfortunately though we decided to chose kiddisave to handle our two biggest purchases for baby, a mamas and papas cot bed and a new model travel system from silver cross, totalling £1000. We were told at the time of purchase that the cot bed would be delivered in 2 weeks and the travel system in 6 weeks. We thought that was reasonable and accepted. What followed was almost 11 weeks of complete incompetence and lack of service in getting our goods to us. The cot in actual fact took 5 weeks to come, after chasing the order virtually every other day after the initial two week estimated delivery and once that arrived I spent the next 5 and a half weeks chasing the travel system. What was so frustrating was being told week in and week out that my order will come on the next big delivery which was coming at the end of the week/following week. Every time I rang I got the same response, basically they had no idea when I was going to get my order but they would just keep fobbing me off with a load of nonsense just to get me off the phone. The last straw came when I rang on my due date ( bearing in mind I had ordered and paid for this product 10 weeks ago!!!!) and they said the order may still be at least another 2 weeks! As you can imagine, a hormonal over due lady by now was feeling frantic to say the least. I basically gave them the ultimatum that I needed a full refund ASAP as I knew I could buy the product which was in stock elsewhere or I HAVE to have the product delivered by the end of the week. The next three days were spent yet again trying to fob me off, just stalling for time as they obviously had no intention of refunding me until I told them that as we had discovered (with the help of one of the sales team at kiddisave) silver cross had the product in stock on their website, they now had one hour to contact silvercross directly and get the order out immediately, to be delivered to our home the next day. Guess what, by 8am the next morning, said travel system arrived on our doorstep. It really shouldn't have taken ultimatums like that to keep your customer happy and I felt like I only have the product now because I have orchestrated the whole order being speeded up by intense negotiation and stressing how unfair we have been treated. In all, it has been a very stressful part of my pregnancy when I should be trying to relax as much as poss in the last trimester, not dealing with this kind of constant hassle. Will never recommend this organisation to anyone.

“Faulty item”

We purchased a highchair and it seems to be faulty after chasing then 100 times and sending them a video of what was wrong they didn't accept for exchange or refund however if it was other proper companies they would accept it as a faulty item. So we had too through the chair in recycle bin and buy a new one as it wasn't safe to sell it or give it to charity. Won't recommend this company to anyone.

“Stay away”

Worse company, too many phone call, no call backs - terrible service! Waited over two months for my order. Received a voicemail stating my order was ready to dispatch and I would need to pay the outstanding amount. Called back and was told no stock and that I would need to wait a further month and a half!

After reading the bad reviews I was a little concerned and I did not receive any kind of email to confirm my order or to say it had been dispatched. But my Item was delivered 2 days after purchase and was fully perfect as it was a cossato I got 4 years guarantee so I registered that fine to very pleased so not sure why the bad reviews maybe they have improved but excellent service

6 weeks later I'm still waiting for my order even though it said up to 2 weeks for delivery. Apparently they have the product in Stock according to website but through email their excuse was out of stock, or waiting for supplier, or should be with you next week, or by end of week, or in next few days but nothing appeared. I've given up now and just demanded a full refund. When I asked for refund and said they had until the end of the day, they called me and said they had managed to find one! Rubbish. Also you can't contact them by phone, it just rings and rings, only by email. I received my refund the next day so that is something.

“Appalling service”

This is the second time I've ordered from Kiddisave and been disappointed - although I have to say the problem was rectified eventually with the first order, which is why I (stupidly) ordered from them again. The main problem with this company is that they are appalling at managing their customer's expectations. They do not make it clear that certain brands will take up to 4 weeks delivery, even if the item is showing as in stock. This, coupled with the fact they never give you an estimated delivery date, just makes it a complete hassle to order from this company. You may think you're saving a few quid but it's just not worth the inconvenience of having to constantly chase up the order! Customer service started off helpful then I dealt with a gentleman who was totally insincere and quite patronising. In the end they ignored me until I bombarded them with messages to get a reply. Eventually got a refund, but only after they'd taken my money and told me 3 weeks after numerous chases from myself that the earliest the item would be available was a full 2 months later! Do not buy from this company if you want a smooth, easy transaction.

I ordered a Jane Strata car seat. It was in a discontinued colour and had a whopping 63% off. But there was no confirmation of dispatch when I expected it, so I wrote and asked how long it would take. Kiddisave wrote back informing me that they didn't have any of that particular colour in stock and offered me another, more recent version. I accepted and it arrived within 48 hours (not including a weekend). I half expected ex-display stock, but no, the seat was absolutely brand new, sealed, with tags, just as it had left the factory. As I write, the same seat is listed on their website for almost £60.00 more than I paid, so they even honoured my original discount when they could just as easily have cancelled the order. There seems to be many negative reviews for Kiddisave, which is unfortunate because my purchase, apart from being a little delayed, couldn't have been better.

Very pleased with the service from Kiddisave. We bought a Quinny 3 buggy and on first use one of the hinges on the chassis jammed and snapped. I rang Kiddisave and they arranged for the broken chassis to be picked up the following day and a new one arrived the day after. No quibbles, no fuss and excellent communication throughout.

“Trading Standards anyone?”

My online order was despatched with no tracking information. Four messages regarding tracking were ignored. (I assume the staff in Walsall have no access to online order details seeing as their stock room is in Cheshire.) I received completely the wrong item - a seat for a pushchair I don't own. Again, all emails totally ignored. I spent an HOUR on hold to arrange a pick-up. When someone finally answered I was promised a refund as soon as the courier had collected the item the next day. Surprise surprise, no courier came - I waited in all day for no reason. Just what you need when you're about to give birth any day. I have ordered the item I wanted elsewhere so I am £130 out of pocket and struggling to store the item they haven't collected. More to the point, dealing with this kind of stuff is the pits when you're preparing for a baby's arrival. Seriously - avoid Kiddisave - they're simply trading on the good name of an unrelated company (Kiddicare) and their own Facebook page is absolutely littered with complaints stretching back months. I have now threatened Trading Standards and court action to try get my money back. I suggest others do the same.

“dreadful. do not use. go elsewhere”

I will never use this company again. Having ordered a bugaboo and maxicosi car seat with a shipping date of 2 -4 weeks, Low and behold after 4 weeks nothing arrived. I tried to call on several occasions but after waiting 20 mins on the phone gave up and finally on two occassions got through to be informed they had not received delivery from their supplier. I could have alternatives... No thanks, I want what I ordered. I was told within 7 days I would receive the intended teams. After 7 days, I still had not received them. This time I complained by their email system. In brief I had to email 6 times complaining about non delivery, 4 of which were answered and 2 of which I never heard back. After another discussion, week 6, the car seat arrived, when I was told the bugaboo would be the one delivered. Two weeks later after more complaining, the bugaboo arrived on a date different to the one I was told and fortunately someone was at home. I will never use this company again irrespective of whether their prices are cheaper. I am happy to pay more and at least know I will get the items delivered when stated and without the trouble of having the chase repeatedly. As you can imagine, this had not sat favourably with me and having recently spent time on a NCT course and with friends who are expecting children, I'm sure they will be using other providers as well

“No communication”

I bought back in May bordeaux cot bed and chester draws and shelf. 4 weeks later the draws came and shelf. I'm currently in germany serving with the army and had all this delivered to my in-laws they had not realised that the cot bed hadn't been delivered until they drove over. My husband rang kiddisave and asked when it would get delivered and the reply we got is not till August or middle of September they did not both to communicate with us and my husband emailed several times and no reply ver dissapointed as now going to have to look for another one! Personally i wouldn't buy from them again and i have herd now that they are unreliable.

“Please read the small print first”

We have recently bought a cotbed and a mattress from this company. Because we already bought one set for our twins earlier from Mothercare, we wanted to get something as good quality and good value. So we ordered the same make that we have been happy about it. Unfortunately it came in different colour which does not match with the picture on their website. Sadly we ended up two cotbeds in different color for our twins. The first mattress we bought from Mothercare was fantastic we wanted something similar. The mattress in Kiddisave had the same description what we got but turned out to be much lower quality and has nothing to do with their descriptions that claim to be luxurious. Under the Distance Selling Regulations if the description and picture does not match with the product it is considered as faulty and shipping expense should be met by the company. When we wanted to return the product they come back asking a charge of £28. Reading all the other reviews I gave up thinking how dreadful would be trying to get a refund from them. I think they named their company similar to another big company like Kiddicare, on purpose in order to sound like they are a good company. Unfortunately they are opportunist and don't care about the customer satisfaction. But they should not forget that, no matter what they do unhappy customers will never return! I will never buy anything online again before reading their return policy. That policy actually says a lot about a company.

“Disgusting company! DO NOT TRUST THEM!!”

I ordered the Maxi-Cosi Tobi car seat in Intense Red on the 25th June. I had looked around at a few retailers but noticed a discount of 10% at Kiddisave when you spend over £150. The car seat was £149.95 so I also bought a pack of Avent soothers at £3.95. After discount was applied my order came to £138.50 so I was pleased with that. I received email confirmation and the money was taken from my account the following day. It stated on the website that Items shown 'In-Stock' delivery within 1-2 working days, both items were in stock so I was expecting to receive them by the end of the week. When it got to the following Tuesday and I still hadn't received them, I called Kiddisave to see what the problem was. Then the nightmare began - 15 minutes of "Welcome to Kiddisave, our opening hours are 9 o'clock to 4 o'clock Monday to Friday. We are currently experiencing a high volume of calls and will answer your call as soon as possible. If you do not wish to hold please email us using the contact form on our website and someone will get back to you as soon as possible, otherwise please continue to hold and we will answer your call as soon as possible." Then eventually someone picked up the phone...and promptly put it down again!! I called back and this time got to speak to Pat who, after putting me on hold for 10 mins while she went to look in the warehouse, told me that they had none in stock but that she could give me a black one. I explained that I didn't want a black one and asked when the red ones would be back in stock, she said to give it a few days as they have to wait and see what the manufacturer sends them!?! Very confused, I said surely you know what has been ordered and as it is still showing as 'In Stock' you will be getting some in soon? Pat told me that she would find out from the manufacturer if they had sent any and would call me back...I'm still waiting for that call. Since then, it seems calling Kiddisave has become part of my daily routine, I hear the 'Welcome to Kiddisave' spiel in my sleep. I couldn't tell you how many times I've been hung up on. One adviser took a note of my order number and my query, said "can you hold one moment please?" 17 minutes later she just cut me off. Eventually one man said he would refund the cost of the soothers as compensation for the terrible time I'd had of it and said he would send them out that day (they should have been sent out the week before but I wasn't going to argue). I have spoken to one person (who promised he would process a refund and email me as soon as it was done) and another (who promised the same as the first person but that she would call my mobile instead of email), I have had no email or phonecalls. So we come to today (15th July) when I called up and got the pleasure of speaking to Pat again (don't even bother asking to speak to a manager, I don't think they actually employ any as none are ever available and I ask at least twice a day) who assures me that my refund was processed on the 11th. When I explained that nothing was showing on my bank account she sighed and said It is on its way to you. So there we leave it for the moment. I have no car seat and no money and just have to wait. I have made my bank aware and they have told me that if I do not have the money by the end of the week, to get in touch with them and they will raise a dispute on my behalf. So I WILL get my money back...but I will NEVER deal with this 'company' again.

“Avoid”

Been waiting since may for delivery of my mood quinny, tried for over a week to be told my order is not ready! I'm having a c-section Monday with none of my order ready car seat, base etc etc Disgusted to be told we can even have any refund on our £900 spent with them Disgrace of a vompany
