“Delivery shambles”

I ordered the britax b-agile stroller from this website which as it was in stock promised to be delivered in 3-5 working days- great it would be delivered in time for our weekend away. I got two e-mails, one to confirm order and one to say the product would be dispatched within a 'short time'.Five days later I received another e-mail to apologise for the delay and that the stroller would be dispatched 'within the next week'. Why? They didn't say. I wrote a complaint to them by e-mail and they rung me with barely an apology basically blaming their supplier. No- it was YOUR fault- you stated on your website the product was in stock when it clearly wasn't, that is misleading.

I was told they would ring again when the stroller was in to tell me when I would receive it. They rung the following week and I received it by courier the next day- far too late for our weekend away though. I was disappointed by the misleading 3-5 working days- I would have ordered elsewhere if I'd known it's take so long. The phone calls- ok they made an effort to keep me informed but only once I had complained and there was no offer or gesture of goodwill made. I will not be shopping there again.
