Sent for Riversway St Tropez Porch Awning with next day delivery. The Awning was on sale and advertised with alluminiun poles. Weight was stated as 19 kg perfect for us. It arrived as promised the next day which was immpressive. On the box which seemed to be heavier than we thought was a weight of 23.9kgs. On examination poles appeared heavier than our previous awning poles. We tested them with a magnet and they were steel poles. Contacted Riversway who at first seemed helpful and promised to look into this promising to contact us. After some time and no call we contacted them and spoke to another person who would also look into this. No contact again so another phone call from ourselves. This phone call was yet answered by someone else who told us that the awning was advertised as having steel poles. Luckily we had the thought to photocopy the previous advert. The offer they gave us was 10% off our next order or send back. After reading reviews of experiences other people have had trying to get refunds we decided to keep the awning and forego the offer of 10% off next order as we will not be using Riversview again.
