Ordered an engine through ONES GROUP LTD. Leeds on 22/11/23 other than invoice and receipt from 1st choice I've had no communication from the supplier at all. I've called on numerous occasions to be told engine has been dispatched but they are waiting for tracking details,this has been going on for 2 weeks. Several emails have gone unanswered. Fortunately I paid by credit card but now have to wait 30 days to raise a dispute. Meanwhile my car is off the road.

First time dealing with this man and his company and have nothing but praise for the way he has handled my request for spares. These were sent to my main dealer who also advised me of their surprise of the shipping and condition of the item. I have no hesitation in recommending the company to any of my friends should they need spares.

They have a load of bad companies on their books, they don't seem to care. Japanese Car Parts to my money (the only thing they did efficiently), and haven't sent the part despite numerous calls. It looks like I'm not the only one.

Went through 1st choice for a tailgate for my elderly parents toyota. Paid foreign car spares for part. Still waiting nearly 2 weeks later. Spoke to them and was told it was ready to go. Spoke to them again and they said they were waiting for a currier. Spoke to them again,told they can't get it delivered for the price they asked me to pay for post so said they would charge me moreover I come come and collect it in the vehicle that doesn't have the part fitted to. Ended conversation with them promising delivery. Still no delivery.Disguting service, I won't be using or recommending them

My son ordered a front passenger seatbelt from the Rochdale centre. It arrived so he took it to our local garage to be fitted, garage calls saying it was the wrong seatbelt having trying to fit it. My son obviously had to pay their labour costs and then it took 2 was to obtain a refund, but of course they wouldn’t refund us the garage costs. I telephoned every day for a wk and always spoke to someone different who assured me that they had sent out the correct seatbelt, so wk 2 nothing had arrived so I rang again and was told that they were out of stock and to ring back after 4pm to request a refund because apparently that’s when they are issued. So unprofessional! So avoid at all cost

1st Choice are only as good as the firms that they promote.They put me in touch with a firm called CAR AND VAN DISMANTLERS in Rochdale who were worse than useless.I sent CAR AND VAN DISMANTLERS photo's of my gearbox so that they could compare it against theirs.They said that their gearbox was 100% the same gearbox,I paid for it and on the delivery day I phoned them to see if it was on the way.Not only was it not sent,it was still at their premises (probably still in the donor vehicle) and they just said that it was the wrong type of gearbox!!! TIME WASTERS

I ordered a part and was assured that I would get a refund if it was not the correct part. When I phoned to chase up my refund I was told that they would be charged a 25% handling charge which has turned out to be more than 50% of the item. I asked why this was not explained to me at the point of ordering and I was told it doesn't have to be as it is their policy. I could have ordered the part brand new from a decent supplier.

The process that 1st Choice Spares provides works extremely well. However, make sure you check all reviews on the relevant companies that you may choose to purchase from. I didn't and paid the price for buying from the Engine Company. They remove additional money from your account without permission or acknowledgement using your previously issued card details. Buyers beware

Having recently acquired a VW LT35, without a spare wheel, that was my reason for searching the net. I came across 1st Choice, so why not let them do the search for me. I specified 225/70/R15C, and subsequently received a number of quotes from different suppliers. Universal Autoparts, (UA), gave me the cheapest quote and with a 3 month guarantee. However, I was out when the wheel arrived, note through the door. I initially received a wheel with tyre with 195/15/R15C. Now as I am new to the VW LT35, I was unsure whether this wheel would be suitable. So, I contacted UA stating what I had received. Out of the blue, came a second wheel rim, with receipt and the 3 month gaurantee. The rim matches the ones on the vehicle, so I am happy.

Using 1st Choice could not have been easier with their simple online interface and clearly defined instructions. My requirements were matched by a few possible suppliers very quickly and the purchase completed within a few hours. Unfortunately I did expereience a small issue with the purchase but issues happen and the measure of a good company is by how they deal with the problem. 1st Choice could not have been better and resolved my issue immediately with great communication along the way and a solution that exceded my expectations. I will have no hesitation in using them again and would happily recommend them to anyone.

ordered replaceplacement turbo through your website,the guy at the other end offered free gasket set if i paid by bankers draft,silly me fell for it,still waiting for my replacement turbo never arrived company full of excuses i got ripped off never again!!!

First time i.ve used these and their supplier jb motors and their service is an absolute disgrace they sent me two products the first one was totally wronc and the replacement was severely faulty and now they want it back at my moms cost b4 any refund issued these are gonna be named and shamed everywhere and hopefully put out of business this is disgusting customer service they shouldn't operate they are a complete sham avoid at all costs

Received the spare part the following day and more than happy to recommend them and the supplier of the spare part I needed. Good to see that the small traders, the backbone of our economy,are enterprising and making use of technology to further their businesses.

bought an engine from CAR AND VAN DISMANTLERS 01706 647484, still chasing to get my surcharge back(£400) and also engine was damaged , when called to explain said its too late and not our problem , today is 7/10/16 and still chasing it , 1st choice is partners with this company and recommends these companies to buy from yet after paying NO support , no help and 1st choice (Calls Cost £1.02 per min+ your phone companies access charge) DOES NOT HELP!!!!! I WOULD STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

They seem so professional but parts either do not arrive or are faulty in which case they say you have to return at your own cost. If you do not want to throw your money away then find a reputable company instead. You have been warned...

I ordered a part with a supplier of 1st choice and paid for it.I was told my item will be delivered in w days and given a tracking no,when I checked the tracking number the courier company and was adviced that it was fake.I rang the supplier and asked for refund and was told he will cancel the ordered which was never sent in the first instance and I will till he receives the parts back which I haven't receive.Plead be carefull and if there was a voice of rating I would give -10.I am taking this issue with consumers direct and trading standards because this should not happen to anybidy
