For the second time I've ordered a O/S window regulator and for the second time I have been sent a N/S even though I made a note that they are not interchangeable. I sent the first one back got no refund and had no telephone number and no way to contact the supplier. This time I do have the supplier's details. Time will tell if I get a satisfactgory result. This causes a lot of problems as both times I had arranged for someone to fit it wasting their time and mine. (read more)

ordered my part a week ago,was confidently and politely told it would be dispatched within 48 hrs,never arrived,kept chasing and was told stories of the courier misplacing it,then their truck breaking down,etc.7 days later i was fuming over the phone and then was told that the part was actually never sent and they had taken payment for it on the very first phone call!! Rotten service,would advise everyone not to waste their time with them and not be fooled by their good for nothing politeness. (read more)

I was initially impressed with the contacts I was sent after logging my request. I called the first number who was Orange Autosalvage in Lancs. They confirmed they had my part a seat belt and also an extra part i asked for which was a parcel shelf. I made my payment and my parcel arrived by parcel force. When I opened the parcel there was only a parcel shelf inside no seat belt. I called Orange Auto salvage who said I would need to wait until the next day as the man who packaged the parcel... Very surprised that the Company were knowlegable about the spare part I needed for an american import. They managed to trace the part in Japan and arranged shipment to me. There was a slight delay in receiving the part but this was out of their control and I was kept fully informed where it was. The part has since been fitted and I will be ordering future spares from this supplier. (read more)

Vantage auto's supplied me a V8 engine from Australia which was exactly as described when it turned up, delivery time was excellent and the price was very competitive. Depot/Supplier is not aware of my payments been paid and I have to chase it up whether the item has been sent. Not happy that I have to wait for the item for long. I think the system should send an email to Depot/Supplier that the customer has paid the payments and send them the product. The supplier is not been notified of the paypal payments been done. The customer servie of the supplier is very good. They were prompt and friendly to help. (read more)

ABS pump & control module (MOT essential, so not an option). Jeep prices; Pump £909.60, Controller £1,400.40 = £2,310. For a 14 year Grand Cherokee worth about 800 quid !! Within 30 minutes of logging into 1st Choice had five offers ranging from £40 to £100 for both items. One supplier was already recommended by my garage, so gave them a call. Rubbish! I just purchased a car which did not have a jack. I used 1st choice and got 1 quote from a breakers for £71...for a jack. I contacted the Volvo main dealer and they quoted me £51 for a new one. However, Amazon sell the standard sissor Jack for £20! Would I use 1st Choice again? I needed a fuel pump housing for my 92 Jaguar. Everything looked good they found the part for me then my nightmare started. Excite Autos said they had the part. I asked for express delivery to Australia and agreed to pay extra costs. As for Excite Autos I cancelled the order and asked for a refund last night 23/04/13. They were waiting for me to pick up the part. Hi, well if I did not make the effort to get into contact with the supplier I would still be waiting for my order. As it is after I sent them 5 photos of the part I requested with a part number on it too, they managed to send me ( received today ) a different part, even with a different part number on it too? Furthermore I thought I was receiving a new unit but this one is clearly second hand , as one can see certain areas are not new on the part i.e. damaged areas. Unfortunately if this is not sorted soonest I will have no option but to recall my credit card payment. Thanks

Got a reasonable quote for a part which the supplier A&C Auto Salvage) said they had when I checked last week. rang today (15/4/13) to order the part and got cut off. I needed two parts for my car, I had been to two scrapeyards in my area without success and was thinking i would never get them.I signed on with 1st Choice Spares uk and within 15 minutes I found the parts i needed and hopefully will be receiving them within the next few days. Ordered an ABS Sensor and they sent the wrong part, it took numerous calls to sort out and my car was off the road for nearly 3 weeks which they had given no sympathy whatsoever, eventually sent the correct part and would definitely never recommend this company to anybody! very very unhelpful....so wouldn't touch them with a barge pole. I had 3 quotes come in for the above item. The one I chose was were the person sending me the quote rang me and we discussed the item and agreed on the right one. I then paid for the item on line and to my surprise I received it first thing the next day! (read more)
