Sell your Car 2Day offered me the best quote by far for my 1995 VW Polo. In fact, double most of the other scrap quotes and they confirmed the offer via text. When I saw some of the bad reviews on here i was a bit worried they wouldn't pay the amount stated, so when called up to book the collection, I checked the quote ammount again with them and checked it wouldnt be renegotiated at the vehicle. After reading reviews, I dediced to give this a try since I alreadyhad several quotes for trade in values. My 2007 Nissan Versa is in decent shape for 6 year old vehicle with 100K+miles, There is a clean title, no accident history, and recent inspection. However, it does have a few minor scratches and pebble marks. After deducting for every minor blemish, which I would consider normal wear for 6 year old vehicle, they offered $2000. I'm so excited! I am about to buy my dream car (an audi tt- white) and needed to sell my car quickly to be able to afford to buy it. I called yesterday evening, gave my car details over the phone and recieved a quote of between £4k and £4,500. Well they came this afternoon and we settled at £4350. Quoted £130 left car with my mum and the pick up asked how much been quoted she was unsure and said think 110 but let me double check and ring my son, the man said its ok got it on text and said yes £110 is right and that's what he gave her quickly, got her to sign documents before she could ring me.. And then drove off.. I then rang up and got told its late afternoon what do you expect and we said 120 anyway erm no you didn't. So unless you get early appointment I wouldn't bother actually... did a quote online on sellmycar2day.com and received a prompt quote and got told to call to arrange date a and time which i Did. arrange for 9-11 in the morning however called at 11.30 and asked where it was to which he replied they were short on drivers but one was on its way. still at 4.30 no appearance so rang again to which he said that they did not have a phone number so did not send a driver. they knew i wanted it collected as called earlier and could of took phone number then. i said... i went on to scrap my car phoned up and spoke to a very helpful and polite man who offered me £150 cash made an appointment for 2 hours later there driver turned up on time didn't haggle me on the price like another company and took it away very quick and easy (read more)

was wicked service came straight out driver called mick and we were quoted £150 on the phone got £170 in the end so very good service i would say the other people let us down on another site they ask for you details and call you back no quote on the net basic web site with a green back ground in surrey area ? sorry don't have the site as was on other computer but www.sellyourcar2day.com were good people with us but just be honest as poss with them about the condition! i think thumbs up from me
