i was looking for a new PRO lens to replace my boring naff EF-s lens kit i had, moving on from my 18-50mm f/2.8-4.5 OS HSM sigma to a 24-105mm F/4L.
I spent ages browsing the internet and ebay, looking at new and used, i couldn't find it new anywhere cheaper than £800 and used any cheaper than £550, that is of course until i found Pro Camera Shop selling it for a justified and very fair £608.99 (around £1-£2 than what i would consider the only rival...digitalrev, who are based out of china, so for a UK based company...AWESOME!!!!).
Made my order Monday morning, received it the following Friday at 11am, sooner than expected i must say. The lens came packaged like it was a the most fragile thing in the world, with tons of thick industrial grade bubble wrap, must have been around 4 inches of the stuff, which made me feel even more happy that the shop had taken the time to package my lens so perfectly and carefully.
In a nut shell, the store are amazing, the service is amazing and they reply within 24 hours which is brilliant! the prices are just amazing too! you can fetch yourself a 60D for little over £500 and a 5D MKII for little over £1100 which is EPIC!
i have already recommended this shop to several friends who are now already happy customers of this business and i can safely say i'll be shopping here again in the near future!
THANKS GUYS!

procamerashop is NOT UK based, they are in Kowloon, HK (China)
They have an `office/phone line` in the UK for orders only! They are grey importers.
I'm extremely suspicious of all these over the top reviews that keep appearing, especially after the more serious negative reviews that keep being bumped down these pages.
Buyers beware!

ahhhh i did not know they were HK based, that is very knowledgeable for me to now know! can i start by thanking you for pointing that out for me!
i also might add that on my order tracking no where was stated anywhere abroad, now either that means they were hiding that from the order tracking system or their item came from within the UK, but i'll leave that to the skeptics.
it is understandable now that they'e grey imports, but ALL canon lenses have a canon international warranty rather than a canon UK warranty, so regardless of their purchase origin, i'm covered if my lens were to fault in any way shape or form.
My review, although now i admit flawed on the line you quoted, shows my experience with them and how i had a pleasant and easy transaction. That may not be the same for others, but i did some extensive research into this company before ordering and i can say that my results pulled an awful lot more positives than negatives.

Glad YOU had a trouble free purchase, but MANY others haven't!
The serious negative comments are soon bumped down the pages by `over the top` 6* reviews. IMHO many are not genuine impartial reviews.
You say you did extensive research, but didn't realise they were actually not UK based?
Also, a tip for anyone buying from outside the EU, register your purchase with the manufacturer. There have been quite a few items with forged serial numbers imported & even some that weren't actually new.
