“Unethical seller”

Ordered a lens from My Digital Land, waited for a month and no status update so i tried to cancel my order, they said it would be shiped the following week. Tried for the third and fourth time to cancel my order and finally filed a dispute with PayPal. Now i got a tracking number for the lens but being that i dont want it and i we tried to get the order cancelled several times with them and they still ship after more than a month is so bad and i guess this is part of their strategy. Finally the only thing i can say is... STAY AWAY FROM THIS SELLER!

“Didn`t receive order”

Stay far away from "Mydigitaland". I have 5 weeks waiting on a canon lens. In the 5 weeks I waited, it was not possible to get in touch with Mydigitaland. Only after creating a Paypal dispute came a mail message from Mydigitaland with the message that the money will be sent as soon as possible back to my account. Mydigitaland excused themselves by saying that their computer had been broken down and all their data was lost. Meanwhile, the price of the lens increased 500 DKK, so I could not buy it at the rate the lens was previously offered for sale. Of course I will never do business with Mydigitaland again.

“Didn't receive order”

After 3 weeks nothing changed in my orderstatus. They were still "processing" my order so I told them I wanted my money back (PayPal) The next day I got a confirmation from PayPal that I got a full refund from mydigitaland.com So the only good thing is that refunds are fast bu I lost a lot of time waiting for the goods. I will never order here again.

“Brilliant”

I ordered this lens from MDL as another provider had failed to deliver following 6 weeks of misery. They also happened to be Hong Kong based. The fact of the matter is that you will have to take that little risk if you want to find your expensive electrical equipment at a bargain price. Just make sure you read the small print as many of myDigitaland's competitors do not guarantee that customs won't send you a bill in order to release your goods. In fact, most explicitly say you WILL have to pay - this despite the home pages implying that there will be no hidden charges! I found the ordering process very reassuring with MDL - this is because it advises you that there will be no import duties as you click through your payment - you just need to tick a box asking for the item to be dispatched from a UK warehouse. As I was concerned following my previous experience, I emailed the customer services team straight after ordering on Wednesday last week - this was late at night. I checked my email the next morning and a nice lady had emailed back to tell me the product was in stock and would be dispatched either Friday or Monday. As promised, the lens was dispatched on Monday (yesterday) - it arrived today - WOW! Contrary to some of the reviews out there, this company is genuine. My advice to you - and this advice goes to ordering from any none-EU company... check the small print and email them from the out-set. If there are likely to be any delays, this is giving the company in question chance to be open and up-front with you from the get-go. Most of people who have written poor reviews (and this goes for myself for the other review I wrote), wait several weeks before chasing - by this point it's pretty obvious the item is out of stock and your chances of a positive resolution are slim to none! Will I order from MDL again? Absolutely! They are as cheap as anyone else and the service was great... All boxes ticked! Well Done!!!!

“Samsung Galaxy Note 2 10.1 tablet wi-fi+3G”

I bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 10.1 tablet wi-fi+3G from Digital Land in May 2013. The main reasons to by from Digital Land was 1) Price= £335, at least £150 cheaper than reputed UK sellers 2) This web site came up prominently in my Google search and it accepted payment through Google wallet However, I read serious warnings in the reviews in all forums with regard to their customer service and quality of products they sell. I took a chance as I was buying a Samsung product and thought it would be OK for me! Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! My Item came three weeks later and soon after there were some colourful lines started to appear in the screen. Short while later, right hand side half of the screen completely stopped working. This happened within the first 12 weeks. I sent the tablet to Samsung in the UK but refused to repair as it was not made for the region. They were sympathetic!! Digital Land simply sent me a Email, 2 weeks after contacting them 3 times by email (they did not answerphone) asking me to send the tablet to Hong Kong! I copied it here FYI HI,Please send it to:JF Global Trading Limited, Rm1004A, 10/F, Yuen Fat Industrial Bldg, 25 Wang Chiu Road, Kowloon Bay,Hong Kong We will send it to Samsung for repair.Thanks.Best Regards,Veronica Can I just send it like this? P and P cost? Would I see my tablet ever again? How long it would take? My advice to any body read this; "THINK VERY, VERY SERIOUSLY FROM THIS SELLER. “Didn't come up with the goods but made a prompt refund”

That says it all. I placed the order and waited and waited. Nothing seemed to have happened after 2 weeks and so I wrote to them asking for them to cancel the order and to give me a refund. They did this straight away and the refund was credited to my Paypal account within hours.

As I had paid through paypal I reqested they give me a refund after figuring out that waiting for the goods was going to be far too much hassle, unlike the rest of the so called MyDigitalLand customer service they actually refunded me straight away without saying anything not even a sorry. I wouldn't like to be in the possition where I didn't have paypal to back me up.

“Repetedly unique and amazing shopping experience!”

Customer service: Emails were replied to within few hours on working days. The reply is valuable and directly addresses the question or request. Shipping: The seller clearly shows in the shipping estimate and on checkout that shipping takes up to 18 days. All three orders I placed with the seller arrived in this time. Shipping from the UK to Germany was via DHL Express. Packing: The itmes were packed very well and sufficiently for the product. Better packing methods, however, do exist but they would increase shipping dramatically. Online shop: The translation into German is not the best, but from my point of view, it really doesn't matter. The seller focusses on the important things and did this more than perfect. Conclusion: I had repetedly a unique and amazing shopping experience with a perfect service. I would highly recommend this shop (with the only restriction, that the buyer should be able to read and hence could notice that the delivery takes up to 18 days).

“Poor Poor Service”

Was hardly kept in the loop at all after ordering my mobile phone (HTC One X), very poor communication. All throughout, the status of my order was hardly ever updated and was stuck on 'processing' so I was unable to track my parcel on the website as their integrated tracking didn't work so I was constantly having to chase up to see where my parcel was. Instead I had to dig around to find my tracking number and use the DHL website and was not told that I would have to pay extra for import tax! The website says all COSTS are up front but it only states Import Tax Will Be Applied which is misleading to some extent. I assumed this was included in the price or I wouldn't have ordered from mydigitaland in the first place as there were slightly more expensive deals out there but included ALL costs! As if that wasn't enough, my item was not 'picked up' from the warehouse on time so for 3 days I had no explanation until I contacted [name removed] by email (who seemed to go from typing perfect English, to barely being able to spell) who explained the courier had forgotten to pick up my item and it was now on it's way. My item was also held up at the delivery warehouse and has only just made it to me today but I'm away on work for a few days so still haven't opened it to check if it's the correct mobile after it had been listed as a 'digital mp3 player' which is worrying in itself as I'm still thinking that maybe they have shipped the wrong product to me! I have ordered from other websites with warehouses in Hong Kong and the current service reminds of simplyelectronics.net (another hong kong based company) who had a very poor run for a while a few years ago but have improved drastically in recent times. I will NOT be buying from mydigitaland again and still have yet to see if I even have the right product waiting for me at home! My advice, pay the little extra for peace of mind and avoid companies such as this!

A bit more delving - actually they use similar web software to Simply Electronics - but it would seem that they are a different company and in my experience have much better levels of customer service

“terrible service”

I ordered a phone from them and after 3 days of no response (after paying) I sent them an email to ask why I didn't even get so much as a notification other than my paypal receipt. I then got a reply a day later mentioning "their delivery schedule" and that everything is on track. One day later I received another stating I have received a full refund. I then asked why, although I already had suspected they didn't have the item in stock (as I tried to source this phone elsewhere from various suppliers only to have my funds returned). I sent an email to ask why it was refunded and you can see their reply below. Don't use this company guys, they don't even have their own stock, they try to source your items after your order them. Very unprofessional and just look at the working on their website. ______________________________________ Hi, We have it in stocks, we decide to refund you the payment because we think that you do not understand our delivery schedule. Our delivery time is about 7-15 days. Since all products are in stocks with our Hong Kong headquarters, and we send stocks to UK warehouse once customer place order, that’s why our delivery time is long. And you have only place your order on 14/Jan, but you are being unhappy of not receiving it already. Therefore, we decide to refund you in full, we just want to avoid any further misunderstanding in future time. Thanks. Best Regards,

“Took my money, 3 weeks later no delivery...”

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE! My canon S100 never made it to my door. My first clue should've been that the site was riddled with poor grammar. My second clue should've been that the shipping info initially stated free delivery, but once i added the order in my basket i was asked to pay an extra £4 shipping charge - Not even for express delivery but for 7-14 day delivery. This raises suspicion that its actually coming from abroad to a UK address before being re-shipped to the customer (note the website emphasis that the item is shipped from the UK - Weird huh? After 1 week i checked the website again. The order status was still 'processing order'. I emailed them to ask if I would get my order before Christmas and they replied saying that I would. After 2 weeks I checked again - still 'processing order'. I rang the number on the website and the man i spoke to said my order was in transit and was being held at airport security for checks and that it would be with me one week from the day of the phone call. I asked if it was coming from abroad, he said no its coming from Germany. Since I'm from the UK I count that as abroad... After 3 weeks I didn't even bother checking the website and rang the number again. This time the man said my order was not in stock and that I would receive a full refund and confirmation email 5 minutes from the call. I didn't even argue I just politely said thank you and goodbye. Now i'm pretty sure if I hadn't chased this up they would've kept hold of my money. It took them 3 weeks and only got a refund because I rang them up. And I spoke to the same man twice (I think he was Chinese, not that it matters)which leads me to believe he's running a one man show with this business. I wont be ordering again

“Ipad”

bought an Ipad at the end of november 2012. Now december 16th> still no Ipad. Been fobbed off so many times. Will not now arrive for christmas. Useless. Can't even get money back from them. Only purchased as PAYPAL state they are trusted and I can get my money back through them if fraud. Looks like I will be contacting them soon!
