The sale price on the binoculars saved me £70 (I payed £229, local shop price £299)and delivery time was 2 days. email confirming shipped came the day after ordering, very well packaged and perfect service.
The binoculars are Hawke Frontier ED 10 x 36 and first impressions confirm reducing object lens from 43 to 36mm and upping quality works (I wanted as compact as possible without going to the really small type).
The free gift as advertised really is a Collins Bird Guide as you would expect from Waterstones, priced at £18.99, and will make a good gift for Xmas.
I'll certainly shop here again!
