I love Book Depository because I love reading & collecting books, so bookdepository.co.uk has become my "go to" site. All categories are available - fiction, cookery, craft,travel books, maps, biographies, poetry, audio, children's titles etc etc, all easy to find on the comprehensive, user-friendly website.

Each entry provides detailed information (pages, binding, publisher, usually a synopsis and reviews (where available), often a list of similar items or topics.

Prices are not just reasonable, they are cheap, delivery is free just about everywhere(no minimum spend) & reasonably fast (to Australia).

I have found service to be excellent, receiving replies within a few hours to emailed queries. It is very simple to contact the organisation through the website.

My A+ experiences: they replaced a book that was damaged by rainwater in my letterbox; on another occasion they cheerfully cancelled an order after I realised I already possessed the item. In both cases they could have replied "unfortunately .....", but went the extra distance.

The only improvement I could suggest is waterproof packaging instead of the current thick, rigid cardboard, although that would probably increase prices.

In summary, this is the best place to buy books. Try it, get hooked!
