It has been a life saver for my daughter who has ADHD.

My daughter is very smart, but struggles with sitting still long enough to read books of any length. She was falling further and further behind in school. I used to read to her , but as she got older she wanted to do the work on her own. With audiobooks, not only is she able to listen to books for class, but she is able to read other books her friends are reading in their free time. Audio books has helped her to keep up in her advanced classes as well as maintain friendships with the advanced students in those classes. Without audiobooks, there is no way she would have been able to enjoy the literature she is able to access thanks to audiobooks. She is in the 8 the grade, and right now she is reading Pride and Prejudice. My only wish Is that I had discovered audiobooks sooner.
