Worthless waranty

Bought a tom tom Sat nav from cash converters. The second time I attached it to the windscreen the small lever operating the suction cup broke off.
Leaving the Sat nav permanently attached to the glass, eventually I managed to remove the holder from the winscreen.
I took it back to the shop, two seconds after I had explained what had happened, the shopgirl gave me a company robotic phrase"you have accidently damaged it the warranty doesn't apply" Sounded a bit like a dalek. This same phrase was also uttered by the shop manager.
I emailed the main regional office in Cheshire the manager replied "I agree with the shop you accidently damaged the Sat nav holder."
So there you have it, seems I'm a very clumsy guy for attaching a Sat nav holder to a windcreen the way it should be done.

But hey look on the bright side, the Cash converters shop door matt will last for ages now that a lot of my family, friends and aquantances will not be stepping on it anymore.
You see there's a silver lining to everthing. ha ha!
