    Oldsmobile Alero 3.4L V6 GL is a very good car for the dollar value. I think the alero has been given a raw deal.So far my alero has been very reliable and a real fun car to drive.Plus very good gas milage.It is loaded with every option except heated seats.

    I had this car for 16 years and I bought it in 1993. It was a 1992 Olds Achieva SL. ( fully loaded, turbo engine). I loved this car for its reliability on the road and speed of the car.     I love this Oldsmobile Achieva SL family car, its my 1st car and I just bought it in the summer of 04 with only 89000 miles on it.     This Oldsmobile Alero 3.4L V6 GL Sedan has had some major components replaced at low mileage. My list of replacements includes:
    Brake caliper at 19,824 miles.
    Lower intake manifold gaskets at 24,878.
    Power steering hose at 24,980.
    Wheel speed sensor, lower control arms, and HEAD GASKET at 28,75 ...
