I've shopped at the works for years and love the great range of craft supplies they have. I recently placed a big order online that came to over 145 pounds. I ordered lots of different things but they have arrived in lots of different shipments and on different days. As I write this there are still items that haven't arrived. I emailed customer services 3 times and they are ignoring me. I got 3 parcels via my Hermes after receiving 3 via Royal Mail(one came in an apology envelope with something missing). The invoice states there is a set if 4 art canvases which are large ones in with the order but all three boxes were too small for canvases that size to fit in, that was one item missing, the other was a chess set bought as a gift for my son with autism, that was also on the invoice and not in the box. The invoice was inside the a sealed parcel, tucked right at the bottom so I didn't discover all this until I had looked through everything. Another thing missing was some watercolour paper. I've emailed them with photos and they just are not responding. I am really disappointed in them as a company and feel as if they have stolen from me. Just be very careful not to make large orders online on their site! Either someone in the company is stealing or they are doing it to customers! Not on at all.
