The game has the wii feel, which for some games is good. For this one it is not. The cutscenes are a comic style play and doesn't give the great feeling that sonic cutscenes have had in the past. The controls just feel clunky and unresponsive at points. The game however did have the classic sonic feel in a sense with the rings and running, and of course the homing attack, but that's it. There is too much complicatedness with the ring side of the game too. Overall it is not a great game by any means. I wish I would have known how the controls would be before I bought it. If you do t totally love the wii controls then do not get this game.
