I love my Nintendogs, thanks to gamestop for having a sale on nintendogs games, I got 2 of them, then when one of them did not work, they willingly replaced the defective game for me. I like the fact that you get to take your dogs on walks, you can feed them, give them water, and when you get a new dog, you get to name it. the one thing I can think of that I do not like is that you cannot give a dog a bath or take it for a walk when you first get it from the kennel. I like the fact that you can keep up to 3 dogs at home at one time. If you want to be able to train them individually, you can keep up to 6 dogs. My sister even admitted that she loves her nintnedogs too.

Nintendogs is a very good game that is enjoyable and amusing to all ages and genders. I would describe the game as something suitable for all ages and is definitely enjoyable.
I like the fact you can care for your own virtual dog and you have to feed it and clean it at certain times. I love the fact it is very realistic.
I do not like on the other hand when you are training the dog it's name or a trick, it's hard for the mic to register the noise.
I had heard about Nintendogs and got it for Christmas one year and can honestly say I am glad I got it.
I don't go on it as much as I used to but the game still appeals to me and I would definitely go on it in my spare time.
Overral, the game is very enjoyable and I definitely recommend it.

I loved this game, however, shouting: "SIT DOWN!" Into my microphone was VERY annoying as it NEVER worked.

Its a good game but gets boring after a while, its really hard to unlock it because you don get any instructions and it took me ages to get my supplies and you cant play without them.

I'd say anyone who hasn't got Nintendogs, get out there and go buy it!

I think Nintendogs is a perfect game for those kids whose parents will not/can not buy them a dog. If you are reading this review to see if nintendogs is a good game to buy your children then I say, and I am sure most gamers will agree, this is most definitely the game to buy!

I love this Nintendogs! I love Bark Mode! Bark Mode is a great way to make new friends through something you enjoy. I've met lots of people through it! I also find that you find someone where you least expect them! I love teaching them tricks and entering them in competitions!

I must agree with you! Bark Mode is fantastic! I think it's a great way for people to trade items. I like the "friends list" option, where you can list all the people you've played Nintendogs with.

I think kids ages 4 to 15 would love the Nintendogs Nintendo DS game, especially for the middle era of that age group. It has realistic graphics and sounds.
I highly recommend it!!! On a scale of 1 to 100, I would give it a 110!!

The Nintendogs Nintendo DS game is a great realistic game about dogs! Ideal for kids who want dogs.

Nintendogs is really cool! It's the ideal game for the Nintendo DS! When the Nintendo DS first came out, I thought it seemed cool, but the games were a little bit boring i.e. racing etc.. so I decided to wait until good games came out before I bought the Nintendo DS! This game really is the game I had waited for and much more! You own a Nintendog, and have to enter it in dog shows to earn Nintendollars to buy more Nintendogs!!
Add this game to you're Christmas list, or save up for it ASAP!

How Do I Play?
This is your pet, and although it doesn't shed, it still needs your love. With the stylus, you pet your Nintendog, all the way from head pats to belly rubs. The more love you give, the more your Nintendog will bond with you. As your puppy becomes your best friend, you use the built-in microphone to teach your dog its name and many tricks! After you train your dog to learn its name, it will come to you (and your DS's bottom screen) when you call it. After it learns a trick, it will perform that trick when you tell it to. After it learns the sit command, your pup will take a seat each time you say "Sit."
Of course, like a real dog, you need to care for your little pup. This includes regular feeding, watering, walking and bath time. If you're a person who doesn't play video games every day, don't worry about anything bad happening to your Nintendog if you don't get to it every day. Nintendogs don't [censored], and they stay puppies forever. If you haven't played the game for a few days though, your puppy will be thirsty, hungry, and might need a bath when you start the game up.
Your puppy needs to go out for walks, naturally, but these walks are special. In addition to giving your pup some exercise, your Nintendog will come across special item boxes. Inside these boxes are all sorts of goodies, from apparel to toys. With tons of items to be found, your Nintendog will always be stylin' or at least have a fun ball to chase around.
Be The Best...
Nintendogs isn't all pet and prim. There are trophies to be won, and money to be made! Show that your Nintendog is best in show by winning the three events: disc competition, agility trials and obedience trials.
In obedience, you score big points when your puppy does a certain set of tricks at your command, so grooming and a good relationship with its master is vital. With agility trials and the disc competition, you'll use the touch screen to throw a flying disc, or lead your dog through an agility course. These two require some practice before you actually enter the events (although some dogs are just naturals at catching a disc).
With the money that you earn from the events, you can buy supplies and more dogs from the kennel! Don't let your Nintendog get lonely. You can keep up to three dogs at a time, and you can store more at the "dog hotel" where they'll look after your dogs.
Bark, Bark, Bark!
If another person is playing Nintendogs within the Nintendo DS's wireless range, the two of you can meet in Bark Mode. When you enter this mode, your DS searches for a wireless partner. When you've found a match, your dog will play with that person's dog!
You can bring gifts into Bark Mode, and swap them with fellow Nintendogs players. Also, you can unlock a breed on your game card by meeting a dog of that same breed in Bark Mode.
Bottom Line...
This truly unique experience will do more than bring you and your Nintendog together. It opens your eyes to a whole new way to play video games!
Nintendogs is released 07-Oct-2005, so make sure you go and buy a copy when it is out in a shop near you!
