Our experience with Redrow went rapidly downhill on eve we reserved our home. Lying & aggressive sales staff and management, incorrect deadline information, a request to each angle contracts when they didn't own all the land the property was built on, poor finish quality, build defects and an absolute unwillingness to own and resolve any problems.
Their customer services team is absolutely the worst I have ever experienced. Unreturned messages, failure to carry out agreed-upon works, failing to call back on agreed dates and refusals to replace faulty fittings. If you do manage to get them to undertake any work chances are it will still need to be done again - our ceilings have been replastered 4 time and they still look awful. 18 months after moving in my wife and I are still fighting to have some issues resolved.
The houses look nice enough but scratch the surface and you'll find shoddy, rushed workmanship and changes to things you weren't made aware of because they didn't provide you with updated planning materials.
My advice - keep away.
