We moved in our new house last week..buying house for the first time. As I am pregnant i was so excited to move in cos they kept promising us that house is gunna be ready jan/feb 2012 then march then april but we moved in at the end of May. Site manager happily told us that theyve done a good job cos the acctual date was at the end of June. The sales guy whos sold us the house promised lot of things that havent been done..then a new guy took his place in office,tryin to be nice and telling that everythings in mess and bla bla bla..We are here for a week now and our heating wasnt working but they sent over a plumber who opened something in a boiler upstairs and it was working then..today we had a leak from that boiler and we didnt even noticed that..as a result our house is ruined..all the sealings downstairs is ruined..the second bedroom is ruined..carpet downstairs and upstairs is ruined..stairs are cracking now so the water is under the carpets. The fan in the kitchen was making loud and weird noises ..toilets were blocking a bit but one day we heard loud noises in drains and they were totally blocked..so did the houses next to us suffered from that. All neighbours are complaining about something its just unbelievable.. baby should be here after 4 weeks and I dont know what to do..Im so unhappy about this buy and so as my partner. I wish we read reviews before cos I found another house just £4k more but it looked amazing. So tonight we dont even have a water cant even flush the toilet. And I have this bad feelind that Persimmons is not gunna take any responsibilites about what happened to our house today. I never heard only bad things about some company but Persimmons is just like that. That should be stopped somehow.. need to write complaints and go to court thats the only way. But all this stress and safety levels should be recorded. We should just complain that they are not respecting our human rights.
