Loving our home

Having read some reviews before we bought our Cala home we started the process open minded. I can honestly say right from the point that the sales rep opened the door for us on our first visit to the handing over of our keys on moving day, the whole experience was fantastic. We were walked to a plot that was near our budget (no sales pressure as we asked) and straight away we could see a build quality that was superior to other companies we had visited. We left knowing that we wanted the house and after a third visit it was fingers crossed for our mortgage appointment. The independent mortgage advisor was recommended by Cala and after just an hour we had a mortgage deal better then our current one. We also got part exchange and again the whole process was very smooth. As for the house price a deal was reached, not due to negotiating, but we had told the sales rep our budget before so they were able to give another offer that hit our budget target. We also had complete flooring and turfing front and back. The meetings with the site manager were very helpful and you could see that he was treating the house as if it were his own. All the staff were very patient especially putting up with our 2 noisy children. A nice touch on moving day was the waiting kettle, biscuits, air freshness, hand towels & the house was spotless. We would say that purely based on our experience if you have had a bad experience with Cala then we can only think you have been unlucky or perhaps unreasonable somehow. Anyway we hope that has been of help.
