The purchase was the most stressful experience I've encountered buying a home. No compromise even if the surveyors down value.
I purchased on the kick start scheme with 25% offset for 10 years but paid for the 25% after 5.
The process was just as bad as buying in the first place and took months with the legal department changing the goal post at each stage. Again surveyor valuation not good enough.

The build quality and fit out has always been on the low budget side in my opinion and now virtually all radiators need repainting due to the paint cracking.

I have no experience of other new builds, but I'm now cautious about ever buying new again.
