Dreadful aftercare!

We purchased our £265,000 house in Nottm last year. Initially it seemed ok although the sales lady hadn't been particularly pleasant. Gradually problems have occurred with the cheap fixtures and fittings. Some have been fixed but many haven't. The front door for example is faulty as are most of them on this development. Bellway however are hoping we will all go away quietly.

Our major issue has been cheap nasty carpets which looked years old within weeks despite not wearing shoes inside, and a garden which has no drainage even though it's at the bottom of a slope and pure clay soil.

Bellway sent someone to assess the garden and he reluctantly agreed to install drainage. However he never organised it and disappeared without a trace! After many emails to customer care and a regional director we had to involve the NHBC. They agreed with us and wrote a report instructing Bellway to do the work. It has now been 10 days and yet again we are being ignored.

The aftercare is dreadful. They simply do not care once they have your money. As our development has all sold Bellway have no interest in our site now and treat all of us like dirt.

The landscaping and the roads around the development also haven't been finished....!

If it were me I'd buy somewhere else
