“If you need something basic and portable its okay”

Got it from a second hand shop for £120 a couple of years ago, it always had a bit of a click on the hard drive especially notable when powering off. Inside is a Western Digital 120gb drive this has since been replaced with a toshiba 500gb drive, this wasn't easy I removed various screws until the case was far apart enough to undo the retaining screws and change the drive, not easy but possible with some care. “dose not work after 14 months”

i have a acer aspire one and after 14 months it stops working and when i ring them they said i have tp purchase a erovery disc £51 not only that but then i need to purchase a disc drive to put it on what a rip off would not recomend to anyone (read more)

Then put ubuntu or some other form of linux on it, it is too slow for windows anyway, and definitely put 2gb of memory in it. I also put an old 500gb sata drive in there but it required loosening lots of screws and sliding it in place then lots more screwdriver acrobatics.

“Nice netbook and good value for money”

I was looking for a notebook, to use while away from home. The Acer Aspire one D260 seemed to fit the bill, and I've not been disappointed so far. It was easy to set up and I've, so far, found it easy to use. I purchased it from StudentComputers.co.uk as an 'open box', refurbished item at a cost of £159.98.
