Written on: 21/12/2012 by DANDCMOTORSLTD (1 review written)

NEIL GRADY/ SARAH DIVINE/ PHIL MURRAY all AUTOTRADER.CO.UK employees, they have all decided that after we took over a car site from a failed busines that when we contacted them about advertising they stated we would have to set up a new account because we are a new business and new legal entity , that makes sense we thought, we signed a new contract worth over £26,000 a year, they then stated and black mailed us saying they would not but our adverts live and honour the contract if we didnt pay the previous companies bill still owed of approx £2000, 20 emails

AUTOTRADER EMAIL TO US, LOL, BULLYS OR WHAT! I would just like to advise you in the event you elect to post defamatory or disparaging comments upon internet forums, please be advised that litigation will follow swiftly in respect of damages suffered in as a result of same and furthermore any said legal action would result in substantial sums being claimed.
We therefore urge you to reconsider this ill-advised course of action and reserve the right to produce this email on the issue of costs in this regard.

Auto Trader you should be embarrassed. Oh I forgot "it's not personal, it's just business". Seems to be a well used disclaimer these days. Yawn!

Doesn't surprise me with Auto Trader. Go straight to the OFT, Trading Standards and any regulating bodies for the car industry.
