The SLR has the same engine as the NX650, but detuned for more torque. Reliability is superb, these bikes just don't break, as long as you change the oil every 2K miles it'll bang along forever. It's quite a tall bike and the seat is rather narrow, so after an hour in the saddle you're ready for a rest. I get 55 to 60MPG on a mix of urban and country riding. Off road capability is pretty good, the 19" front wheel is not ideal but the suspension has 6" of travel and the huge torque output... (read more)
