bought a 90 cbr1000f in 2010 on consignment with 25k on the odometer, it now has almost 51k, no issues to speak of this is a excellent reliable sportstouring bike i drive it year around in temps from 20%f to 100%f, it has not failed me except once, i was stuck in traffic on a 99%f summer day and it over heated and blew out the three way cooling system union, $30 part. considering it lasted 21 years and was made from hard molded plastic it did good and well past its service life. i would recommend this bike to a more experienced rider, maybe someone with previous experience just getting back into riding, it is a heavy bike the power band is very linear, and there are aftermarket hardluggage options still available for it, go get you one there a excellent bike and can be had at a resonable cost.
