These had to have been thee worse tires i have ever bought. I have an 03 Honda CBR954, it has been reduced to a commuter bike due to fuel prices, but still hit the local canyons when i can.
I dont know how anyone could get the mileage they are posting, the front is still good, wear is not the best, in the canyons, i didntpush it to hard just because i was leary of the title "sport touring", but they seemed to handle ok, but as far as mileage, less than a 1000 on the rear, and thats normal riding, no locking up the rear, no burning the tire at stop lights, just 120 miles a day to work and home, average speed 85.
i know have a rear tire with a nice mettalic strip down the middle, as far as a cheap replacement, fine, other than that, spend the extra money for good tires.
