this tyre is the Honda's recommended tyre for this bike !!!!! really????
this is supposed to be a sport touring tyre which means handling + durability.
my back tyre lasted 4000 miles with the 3 punctures. it could have lasted 4500 miles but even that is an average not touring tyre and my VFR is no heavy GOLDWING and hard on tyre!!! ... it cracked on the first 150 miles and took puncture ... cracked ... and I ran it 50 miles gently for the tyres to set in.
riding wasn't gentle and 95% was city riding.
HANDLING: it doesn't inspire confidence but I risked my bike and bent it knee down low and it held on, but didn't have the guts to do the same in the wet so it is no sport tyre.
Front tyre is absolutely fine no crack no puncture and has plenty thread left after 5K miles I reckon it will do 7500 miles. and again it doesn't inspire confidence but holds on. NOT ENOUGH.
