I phoned Mce to renew my insurance.I got a quote for £186 fully comp.I decided to take the insurance on a direct debit monthly payment.The docs arrived yesterday and I was shocked to find the total price ws £260. Broken down it looked like this : insurance £95
Admin fees £118 credit agreement £47. I was not a happy chappy. I phoned the ombudsman today gave them the sob story and got a ref number.I then phoned mce and politely explained that if I did not get the whole thing cancelled and my deposit back the ombudsman would be in touch with the ref number I gave them.End result policy cancelled,money back.Went to mce on line got a quote £95 no fees.Be careful out there people.
