MCE Insurance are crooks - Non fault claim

I don't write a great deal of reviews, I got to be honest but after being involved in a accident I wanted to share my experiences of MCE Insurance with the biking and wider community. I could make this a very long post but I simply don't have the energy after months of hassle from this awful excuse of a company plus I don't want to waste a ton of your time reading this.

Ok so yes their insurance premium prices are cheap and if you don't have to claim then you save yourself a few quid filling their pockets. However if you are unlucky to have a accident while on your motorcycle be prepared for awful service (or lack of service I should say). The accident was caused by a car driver, I did nothing wrong and have witnesses plus the police who all said I am not at fault. So you would think it is a pretty clear cut case. MCE Insurance (my insurance company - fully comp motorcycle insurance) should contact the third party insurer to arrange and sort everything - wrong. After being led up the garden path, going round in circles after numerous phone calls and emails where you speak to a different person every time I was basically told that because it was a non-fault claim they (MCE Insurance) aren't obliged to do anything...yet I was told by the claim manager of MCE Insurance that if it wasn't a non-fault claim (in other words the accident was my fault) they would be all over it like a rash. Charming huh...so in other words if it was my fault they would make the effort as they would make money off me. Kind of ironic if you ask me. All this leads me to think what is the point of paying your insurance premium??? surely if you are not at fault they should support their customers more than if you had caused the accident, not less.

All this when your going through a horrible experience being knocked off a motorcycle (traumatic enough!) and being involved in an road accident with injuries. Complaining directly to MCE Insurance also doesn't help - there simply not interested in their customers which is made even more worse when they are the main sponsor for BSB (British Superbike Championships). This is not even 10% of the complete saga but I urge you, please for your sanity don't go with them. Ps. I've had to give 1 star because this site doesn't allow zero stars.
