I had considered Hastings insurance in the past and they had always been competitive. This year, the offer of cashback was enough to make we switch to their insurance. I certainly am swayed by the cost of any insurance product, but this is not the only factor I consider when purchasing insurance for anything. As usual, I used a price conparison website to limit my options to a few key companies that offered a competitive quote, sensible excess and were also a brand name I recognised. Finally, working through a cashback website I took out a policy with Hastings to make the final quote the best I could find from my top selection. Working through the website was easy enough when completing the proposal.
