We took out van ins. over a month ago and have had a least 3 unbelievably rude phone calls a day since. They have repeatedly demanded photocopies of driving licences, which I have sent in 3 times and were lost every time until I sent 3 copies in separate envelopes all at once recorded. Then they got our address wrong. When I rang to correct them, I was told that any change mid term incurs a £65 charge! What is most annoying is to be constantly rung by different idiots and having to explain the situation over and over because they obviously weren't recording previous phone conversations. Impolite, arrogant staff not to mention completely incompetent. I was also sent cancellation letters because they hadn't received documents as they kept losing them - despite it being entirely their fault, staff said the cancellation stood because I'd "been given so much time to get the documents to them"!

In the end it was actually cheaper to cancel the policy and start again with a new company. I thought, considering they were having such problems changing an address and opening post, what the hell would it be like if I did need to make a claim at some point??
